LEOMINSTER'S goal-glut continued in the West Clubs' Women's League Severn Division 1 with a 9-0 hammering of Stroud.
The town side, who hit Ross-on-Wye for six the previous week, were quickly into their stride with Karen Hackley scoring twice in the early stages.
Coach Julie Fullerton, in the action due to an early injury, netted the third before Hackley completed her hat-trick in the lead-up to half-time.
After the break, Hackley quickly added her fourth before skipper Caroline Hughes got her name on the scoresheet from the penalty spot.
Then, after Hackley had scored again, the final two goals were claimed by Denise Hazelwood whose double strike was just reward for a hard-working performance.
Ross, meanwhile, gave a battling display and were unlucky to come away with nothing from their visit to leaders Cheltenham 2nd after a 3-2 defeat.
The home side took an early lead but Lorraine Stevens levelled for Ross after a neat interchange with Linda Davies.
Pauline Hemmingway then put Ross into the lead from a short corner and although Cheltenham levelled it seemed as if the visitors would come away with a valuable point.
But with the seconds ticking away, the home side squeezed in a winner which cements their place at the top of the table and maintains their 100 per cent record.
Hereford remain hot on the heels of the leaders after a second-half fight back brought them a 3-1 success against Gloucester 2nd.
Gloucester took the lead in the first half but with Hereford looking lively on the break a goal was always likely.
The city side had to wait until midway through the second half, however, for their breakthrough which came when a well-worked short corner by Gay Watkins and Claire Butler saw Watkins find the net.
Shortly afterwards, Butler herself found the net with another fine goal from a corner and a third goal in the closing stages from Maz Fowler sealed the win.
Hereford 2nd remain at the top of the table in Severn Division 2 after registering their sixth successive league win by beating St Gregory's 4-1.
Helen Lewis opened the scoring for Hereford in the early stages and Dwyn Jones quickly doubled the advantage when she put away a well-worked penalty corner.
Ruth Powell and Rachel Wreyford worked hard to keep the advantage at 2-0 at the interval and top scorer Lisa Ferneyhough extended the lead after Hereford made a strong start to the second period.
Although St Gregory's pulled a goal back, Ferneyhough had the last word when she scored her second shortly before the final whistle.
Colwall lost ground on the leaders after going down 2-1 at home to Brockworth.
Tenbury have now moved up to second place in the Worcestershire League Division 1 after a 3-2 success against a powerful Harborne side.
Sarah Nightingale opened the scoring for Tenbury after a flowing run from midfield and Tina Bickley increased the lead with another well-taken goal.
Just before the break, Rachel Croxton scored from a penalty but things began to go wrong after the interval when Harborne scored twice within five minutes and Tenbury lost the influential Abi Thomas with a knee injury.
But although Harborne pressed strongly in the closing stages, excellent work by Jessica Preece and Michele Petrie ensured that Tenbury held on to the points.
Leaders Kington were without four key players for their trip to Llandrindod for a Mid Wales League match but still came away with a 5-0 win.
Sam Hadley fired the opener within the first minute and Jenny Layton added the second five minutes later.
Good defensive play by Bev Hyde and Karon Jones kept Llandrindod at bay before Kington pulled away in the second half with two goals from Alex Watson and one from Helen Yeomans.
