A further seven new cases of Legionnaires' Disease were confirmed on Saturday bringing the total number linked to Herefordshire to 22. There were no new cases reported on Sunday.
Dr Brian McCloskey from the Health Protection Agency said: ''We are still within the predicted incubation period for the disease. This means that these new cases may have contracted the disease from a local source but we are confident this has now been eradicated as part of extensive cleaning and disinfecting.''
A 24-hour hotline has been set up which members of the public can ring for advice. This number is 01785 231 011.
