IN spite of this result Bromyard can take heart from the fact that they actually played some quality rugby, especially in the first half where a stiff breeze and large slope were against them.
KINGS NORTON 37pts, BROMYARD 9pts
Three silly mistakes cost Bromyard three tries in the first 15 minutes but for the rest of the half they were camped in the Kings' half and reduced arrears with two Ainsley Ralph penalties.
The second half provided hope for Bromyard when Ralph reduced the gap further with another three pointer. Disruption to the Bromyard pack occured when hooker Simon Fryar had to leave the field with a leg injury, this provided a spur for Kings and in the last 20 minutes they scored four tries.
Jason Evans shone for Bromyard in his first start of the season and Nick Legge continued his resurgance with another solid display.
This was a game Bromyard felt they could and perhaps should of won, they look forward to the return in anticipation.
