Last week's bonfire night celebrations in Ledbury caused alarm for Victoria Road resident Steve Glennie-Smith, who discovered a large rocket stuck in his lawn.
Mr Glennie-Smith, of Lilac Cottage, weighed the firework at 70 grams.
Given that the rocket had managed to stick itself into the earth, he said he wondered what might have happened if the firework had fallen on his house or someone's head.
Now he is questioning whether rockets should be on sale to the general public, if private bonfire night celebrations are to continue.
