TWINKLING lights, colourful window displays and an early visit from Santa will mark the official Christmas light switch on in Bromyard on November 22.
Conservative MP Bill Wiggin will be on hand to flick the switch and judge the Christmas window display competition.
Santa will drop into Bromyard Station at 1.45pm for a sleigh ride to the square before settling into his grotto for the afternoon.
The lights will shine out from 5.30pm and the town centre will be closed from 4.45pm to 6pm so crowds can fill the square ready for the big countdown.
