Leominster Town 0 Gornal Athletic 4
LEOMINSTER found West Midlands League Division 1 South pacesetters Gornal too hot to handle and went down to two goals in each half.
After a fairly even start with most of the play in midfield, Gornal gradually took over to put Leominster under pressure.
Midway through the half Gornal opened the scoring when Town failed to clear their lines and Nick Pugh hit the target with a crisp shot.
Within five minutes the visitors extended their lead when Spencer Lloyd skipped by his marker to fire home a low drive.
Leominster had no answer to skilful Gornal but there was an element of luck about the third goal, a speculative 50-yard effort from Ross Brummell that deceived home goalkeeper Kevin McCall to sail high into the net.
Town did not drop their heads but were completely outplayed by the rampant visitors who wrapped up the scoring when Clint Hughes sent a low drive into the far corner to beat the stretching McCall.
