Hereford had a weekend they would prefer to forget after suffering two defeats.
They went down to their second league defeat of the season when beaten 4-2 at home by Robinsons in the Gerrard West of England and South Wales Men's League North Division and then made their exit from the HA Cup, 3-2 to East Devon, the following day.
Some poor defending allowed Robinsons to grab two goals in quick succession midway through the first half and the visitors then added a third early in the second period.
Steve Alderton pulled a goal back for Hereford but a fourth goal for the visitors effectively settled matters.
Time still remained, however, for Hereford's man-of-the-match Richard Edwards to score a consolation goal with a wonderful strike from the edge of the D.
On Sunday, an Alderton goal gave Hereford the edge in the first half but East Devon equalised before the break and went in front midway through the second period.
Although Mike Broady put Hereford level almost immediately, the home side were unable to hold on and East Devon grabbed the winner late in the game.
Leominster are comfortably placed just behind the leaders in North Division 2 after disposing of bottom club Firebrands 3rd 4-1.
The North Herefordshire club, who will be in third place if awarded the points from the game called off by Chepstow the previous week, started strongly and led by a goal from Rob Goodman at the break.
Josh Watkins added the second following a Goodman shot at the start of the second period and, although Firebrands pulled a goal back, Goodman scored again following good build-up play by Watkins and skipper Dave Harvey.
Watkins then rounded off the scoring with five minutes to play following another fine move.
Hereford 2nd paid the penalty for conceding two early goals at West Glos 3rd in North-East West District 1 and went down 2-1.
Hereford took some time to settle after falling behind but began to create chances towards the end of the first half with Mike Broady and Dan Bridges pushing forward at every opportunity.
Tim Miller and Broady forced good saves from the home goalkeeper before Richard Jones eventually converted a penalty corner.
But it proved too little, too late as the home side clung on with some tenacious defending.
Leominster 2nd crashed 3-0 to second-placed Lansdown 3rd in the same division.
Hereford 3rd's game against Weston-super-Mare 3rd in North-East West District 2 was called off but Ross-on-Wye went down 3-0 to Westbury & UB 5th in North-East West District 3.
Hereford 4th have hit top spot in North-East West District 4 after a crushing 9-1 defeat of bottom club North Somerset 3rd.
Hereford captain Peter Williams netted his first goal for two years and veteran striker Chris Moody produced a couple of flashes of individual skill to extend the lead before the visitors pulled one back before the break.
Some smart play at the start of the second period saw Hereford create chance after chance and it seemed only a matter of time before the goals arrived.
Finally the home side broke through and Moody scored two more as they raced to their final tally of nine. Sweeper Percy Steele also got in on the scoring act.
Leominster 3rd were not so fortunate on their visit to Old Bristolians 3rd and went down to a 5-2 defeat.
