CRIME FILE - Police at Knighton are investigating the theft of a large statue of a grey Madonna with baby from a garden in Bridge Street. A man seen taking the statue is described as being of 25-29 years of age. Also being investigated is the theft of a Royal British Legion charity box from the counter of a newsagents' shop in Broad Street.

There is now a daily Eucharist in the Parish of East Radnor at Saint Andrew's Church, Norton. The services are held at 6 pm each day (except Tuesday, when the service is held at 11.30am).

SAINT EDWARD'S CHURCH - At last week's celebration of the Eucharist at Saint Edward's Church, Ann Robinson and Kevin Kell read the lessons. Cecil Rudge was organist and Hilary Howcroft directed the Choir of Saint Edward's which led the singing.

METHODIST CHURCH - This Sunday, the Reverend Michael Langstaff will lead Morning Worship at Knighton Methodist Church at 11 am.

BAPTIST CHURCH - The Reverend Michael Humphreys will lead worship at Knighton Baptist Church this Sunday.

CATHOLIC CHURCH - Mass is celebrated each Sunday at 11am at Knighton Catholic Church.
