Kings Norton 37 pts Bromyard 9
DESPITE suffering a heavy points deficit in North Midlands 1, Bromyard can take heart from the fact that they actually played some good quality rugby, especially in the first half when a stiff breeze and slope were against them.
Three silly mistakes cost Bromyard three tries in the first 15 minutes but for the rest of the half they were camped in Kings' territory and reduced arrears with two penalties from Ainsley Ralph.
The second half provided hope for Bromyard when Ralph reduced the gap further with another three-pointer.
Disruption to the Bromyard pack occurred when hooker Simon Fryar had to leave the field with a leg injury and this provided a spur for Kings who scored four tries in the last 20 minutes.
Jason Evans shone for Bromyard in his first start of the season and Nick Legge continued his resurgence with another solid display.
