I DO hope you might be able to print a clear warning in your paper to all dog owners as soon as possible. The stealing of dogs is very much alive!
Last Sunday afternoon, my four-year-old Dalmatian bitch was stolen from a padlocked enclosure on my smallholding near Symonds Yat.
Sophie is a liver-spotted heavy bitch with odd coloured eyes. She cannot be bred from as she has been spayed.
Anyone knowing of her whereabouts please contact the police. Two other dogs of mixed variety in one enclosure at the same time were left.
Be warned, a friendly dog, standing up at a gate for a fuss by an unknown person could soon find itself on the wrong side of the gate and being carried away probably to be sold.
Be vigilant. Get your dog microchipped; it could help in recovery of your pet from any part of the country.
A SEABORN,
Kymin Lea, Wyesham, Monmouth.
