Eastnor became Catley Staite Sunday League Division Two champions after defeating Ewyas Harold by eight wickets.
Ewyas Harold batted first and could only score 162 for the loss of seven wickets. A Davies top scorer with 47, D Elkerton 28, N Cole 27, L Adams 14. Good bowling by Marc Wildig 3-18, N Haggar 2-19 put Harold under pressure.
Eastnor in reply made easy work by reaching their target in the 25th over. Captain Steve Hughes lead from the front with a fine 48 (five fours and three sixes). Sam Beale unbeaten on 24 along with Nick Bollen 65 not out (nine fours and two sixes) saw Eastnor to victory.
EASTNOR v Kington
EASTNOR completed the league double over rivals Kington on Saturday, winning by four wickets.
Kington batted first and only scored 125-7 off 50 overs. S Williams 47, S Caple 38 being the only batsmen to trouble Eastnor. Shahid bowled well taking four wickets for only 35 runs from 22 overs and was given good support from Jim Sandford who claimed three wickets for 41 runs.
Eastnor set about the task of 126 to win with opener D Baker hitting a fine 54 and with Arshad (25) put on 60 runs for the first wicket but then the boat started to rock before Steve Hughes finished things off by hitting 17no. Kington had Kevin Gwynne to thank for making a game of it by taking five for 72 runs.
Eastnor picked up 20 points.
