Ledbury Tennis Club's ladies A team has had a most enjoyable and successful summer season.
They won five and lost two of their seven matches to finish in a commendably high position in their division of the two-county league.
The team was Margaret Bradstock (captain), Amanda Nicoll, Jane Bailey, Kate Nelmes, Gill Swaithes and Sue Andrew. Additional help came from Ann Hume, Julie Higgs, Clare Tingle and Jill Masters.
Ledbury ladies B team also enjoyed an excellent season winning four and losing three of their of their eight matches, with one winning draw to finish in second place in Group 5 West.
Their final match of the season was a strong win over Whitecross ladies B team with the pairings of B Onions and J Day plus P Symonds and J Masters winning all four rubbers decisively.
