THE new owner of a Bromyard cafe is hoping he can help regenerate the town centre.
Seasons caf bar in The Square opened on Monday after a facelift.
Owner Duncan Copper bought the site - formerly occupied by Le Caf - after his family moved to the town.
"We had a fantastic day on Monday. It was an overwhelming response from the public and locals," said Mr Cooper, whose father took over Bromyard's veterinary practice in April.
"People were saying how lovely everything looked."
Mr Cooper said he plans to introduce different items to the "bistro" menu every week and to ultimately have all produce locally sourced.
But for the time being, Mr Cooper is hoping that the new caf will provide a boost for the town centre.
"If we can change the type of clientele that comes to that area there might be a way of regenerating that end of town.
"Because of what we have done, people might realise what can be achieved.
"There's a lot of potential in Bromyard. There's a lot of derelict offices and plenty of opportunities to do things with them."
