I AM having to travel to Cheltenham on a regular basis at present and today I bought petrol at 71.9p per litre.
Driving back into Hereford I see prices are almost universally 77.9p per litre or almost 30p per gallon more expensive. The forecourts carry mottos like "We watch prices so you don't have to!" Why are petrol prices in Hereford so expensive - it seems they watch each other so that they are all as dear!
On a lighter note, heartiest congratulations to whoever is responsible for the flower displays in St Peter's Square, St Peter's Street and the Old House - they are beautiful.

Ledbury Road, Hereford.
