A Bromyard bridge is to be named in honour of one of the town's most renowned characters when it re-opens on Friday.
Following a thorough restoration programme the B4203 bridge, which leads out of Bromyard to Great Witley, will be crowned the 'Bill Morris Bridge' in tomorrow's opening ceremony.
Coach driver Bill had lived in and around Bromyard for more than 90 years and was one of the town's most recognised personalities.
He organised countless seaside and theatre trips and also took an active role in supporting the folk festival and the Bromyard Gala.
At his funeral more than 500 people attended to pay their respects to a man who was Bromyard through and through.
