TWO children's activity holiday workers will attempt the ultimate outdoor challenge in aid of their favourite charity.
Ross-on-Wye PGL staff Sue Shorthouse and Neil Vanstone will run the London Marathon next year in aid of the NSPCC.
Their aim is to raise £4,000 by next February and they plan to raise their first £1,000 at a promise auction and fete in Ross on Saturday, September 13.
The event is at Ross Conservative Club, Walford Road, from 12pm until around 7pm and will include a barbecue, lucky dip, tombola and stalls. Promises range from family activity holidays to a ski machine. Anyone who would like to donate a promise should contact Sue Shorthouse on 08700 551551 (extension 317). Entry is free.
