A Ross-ON-WYE man was saved through his sun roof after a tree collapsed and fell on to his car. The 28-year-old man was travelling from Ross to Ledbury on the A449 when the accident happened just south of Much Marcle.Fire-fighters used specialised cutting equipment to free the motorist through his sun roof at 9.45am on Monday. The man was flown to Hereford County Hospital by air ambulance where he was treated for arm and back injuries.
