Kington Town 4 Brierley Hill & Hagley 2
AFTER dominating the first half to lead 2-0, Kington found themselves all square midway through the second period before raising their performance to maintain their rapid rise in the West Midlands League Premier Division.
Alex Hunt headed the home team in front midway through the first period. Mark Davis made it two 10 minutes before the break when he burst into the box, left two defenders flat-footed and rifled the ball into the roof of the net.
Kington made a sluggish start to the second half and Brierley Hill made them pay with goals in the 55th and 65th minutes. This stirred an immediate response as the home team forced a corner and Hunt headed his second goal from Carl Morgan's cross.
Ten minutes from the end Steve Radziejowski seized on a through-ball from Morgan and let fly to add a fourth goal.
Kington held out to secure the win that took them into the top four.
