THE Hereford Times has, once again, increased its circulation.
Official figures released at the end of August by ABC - the industry monitor - shows the circulation between January and June this year at a record level of 42, 717.
That's an increase of 266 copies sold every week compared to the same period last year and is up 0.63%.
The Hereford Times is currently ranked at number seven in the UK's Top 20 regional paid-for weeklies.
Last month, The Newspaper Society - the industry body for regional newspapers - showed that the paper is the biggest selling weekly in the Midlands.
The best
Editor Liz Griffin said: "This continued growth in readership reflects the great expertise of all our staff, who are dedicated to providing the best possible service to all our readers - old and new - and our advertisers.
"Our growth, which is shared by many other weekly papers across the country, also demonstrates that good regional newspapers are seen as the best and most trusted medium for news, views and information about local communities."
The Hereford Times was founded in 1832 and is now owned by Newsquest-Gannett.
