WILDLIFE TALK -- On Tuesday, September 12 Dr David Boddington will give an illustrated talk entitled Wildlife About the Household. This promises to be a fascinating talk, as Dr Boddington intends to go back to 3000BC by showing slides of Neolithic remains, then further on through history showing houses and their "occupants". The talk will be held in the Edwyn Ralph village hall, 7.30pm for 8pm. Tickets are obtainable from members of Edwyn Ralph PCC. The cost is £5 to include refreshments and a draw, and proceeds are in aid of Edwyn Ralph Village Hall funds. Further details can be obtained by ringing Doris Culshaw on 01885 483405.
CHURCH -- Work is about to commence to repair the plasterwork on the internal walls of St Michael's church, which are currently in a poor state. Volunteers will be needed from the local community to help with cleaning and decorating once the plaster work is completed, so please contact any PCC member to let them know that you are willing to help.
