FLOWER FESTIVAL -- A prestigious three-day flower festival is being held in Much Birch church on September 19-21, coupled with a concert on the Friday evening and a cheese and wine supper on Saturday evening (both of these at Much Birch Community Hall commencing 7.30). Tickets priced at £5 can be obtained on the door. Entry to the flower festival (from 10 - 6 pm each day) costs £2 to include a programme of the displays which represent music from the great composers - Handel, Beethoven, Elgar, Bizet and many more. Refreshments on the three days of the festival will be served in the community hall where there will be an exhibition of local art, crafts and history. The proceeds from all these events will be going to Much Birch Church Renovation Fund to complete further improvements following the repairs to the roof and the redecoration of the church itself.
