HEREFORDIANS player Ceri Griffiths, from Pembridge, represented her country when selected for a Welsh Under-17 Ladies' Select Xl against the USA Cricket Academy at Bridgend, her birth place. The Welsh team lost by 10 runs and Ceri, batting at three, was out for one. But she later produced a good spell of bowling with 1-8.
