Ledbury Junior Rugby club kicks off the new season on Sunday with registration and training for all budding rugby players from ages six to 16.
Following on from last years successful season Ledbury Rugby club is looking forward to a new season working within the Herefordshire Community Rugby scheme incorporating the Sport England 'Clubmark' programme and the 'Active Sports' seal of approval. This programme is designed to ensure the club is recognised as a safe, effective and child friendly club.
Benefits of the scheme include financial support for volunteers to attend coaching, refereeing and child protection courses free of charge. Anyone interested in getting involved with coaching or administration is always welcome.
