HEREFORDSHIRE CBA entertained Gloucester-shire CBA at Leominster and achieved a victory by 134 shots to 112, winning on four of the six rinks.
The rink skipped by Colin Reading was 13-1 down after six ends but won 11 of the remaining 15 ends in a tremendous fightback, with all players in the rink making a fine contribution to achieve a 28-20 success.
President Dave Holloway skipped the highest winning rink to a 22-10 victory in a very entertaining game and Derek Waters' rink played well in a 21-12 win. The other successful rink was skipped by Brian Cade and had a last-end shot for a 19-18 victory.
Gerald Jones' rink went into the last end level at 18-18, but unfortunately dropped a five to go down 23-18, and the rink skipped by Jack Gray lost 29-26 in a high-scoring encounter.
