A WOMAN was dragged into wasteland and sexually assaulted as she walked alongside the River Wye in Hereford.
The attack happened as the woman walked along the tow path between Greyfriars Bridge and the Great Western Way cycle path at 9.30pm on Monday.
After the assault the attacker walked with his victim along Charles Witts Avenue in Hunderton before making his escape on a bicycle into Wallis Avenue.
Hereford Police believe the attacker is between 17 and 20-years-old, with short dark spiky hair, a thin face, moustache and possibly a goatee beard.
He was wearing a dark coloured padded jacket, with dark jeans and white trainers, and spoke with a Hereford accent.
Police would like anyone who saw this man walking with a woman wearing a navy blue tracksuit top, grey T-shirt, blue jeans and trainers in the Hunderton area, to call Hereford CID on 08457 444888 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
