A MAN was knocked to the floor and robbed as he walked across the King George V Playing Fields in Hereford.
The victim was on the cycle path near the back of the swimming baths at 4.30am on Monday morning when someone punched him from behind. As he lay on the floor a second attacker stole his Nokia 3310 mobile phone and black leather wallet containing a large amount of cash.
Both muggers are white and in their early 20s. The man who stole the phone and wallet was wearing dark blue jeans and is of slim build and around 5ft 11ins tall.
Anyone who knows anything about the robbery is asked to call PC Polly Robinson at Hereford Police Station on 08457 444888.
