A coup for Herefordshire generally, and a small charity in particular, Concerts for Craswall is honoured to have The Purcell Quartet to perform in Dore Abbey on September 11.
Catherine Mackintosh on violin and viola, cello, violone and organ - together with Rachel Byrt viola, Anthony Robson oboe, William Hunt violone and the well-known baritone soloist Peter Harvey will be performing in aid of the Concert for Craswall Musicians Fund.
The Purcell Quartet are leaders in the field of baroque music, filling not only Wigmore Hall in London and great halls and churches around Europe, but selling out in the USA, Japan and South America.
They will be playing music by Masters of the Baroque, including works by Weckmann, Buxtehude, Biber and Schutz. Tickets for this popular concert are available on 01981 510332.
