A MENAGERIE of creepy- crawlies entertained children at Ledbury Leisure Centre last week.
Wildlife workshop firm Zoolab brought a snake, tarantula, scorpion, South African frog, cockroach and more to the centre, where about 15 children had gathered as part of the summer-long Kid's Camp.
Leisure centre duty manager Nina Powell said the children had been allowed to hold the animals and had enjoyed the hour-long visit.
"They were fine, although there were a couple that didn't want to hold them!" she said.
"It gave them a chance to see and hold creatures the hadn't seen before. It's a different activity."
The visit was the first by Zoolab, but Ms Powell said she would invite them back next summer.
