CUP upset specialists Hereford United will aim to put the boot into Second Division Northampton Town tonight (7.45).
Graham Turner's squad entertain The Cobblers in the first round of the LDV Vans Trophy boosted by the return of striker Steve Guinan from injury.
Northampton include the well-travelled forward Marco Gambiadini in their squad, but with United's reputation as giant-killers second to none since their famous victory over Newcastle, Cobblers manager Kevan Broadhurst has taken nothing for granted.
"They've had us watched four times so I think they are taking it very seriously," said Turner.
"Lower league clubs realise what an important competition the LDV Vans Trophy is, especially from a financial situation because there is a lot of money for those that make progress."
Hereford's form at Edgar Street continues to remain sketchy with another disappointing draw against Halifax at the weekend.
The match saw the debut of Bournemouth loan signing Chukki Eribenne who is included in the squad, but Turner admits the forward did not have many chances to make his mark on the game.
"The positive thing about Saturday's match is that we didn't lose which is what we have been prone to do," said Turner.
"Chukki is available for both the FA Cup and LDV Vans and was one of the conditions that we took him. He did okay but we didn't create an awful lot as a side. We had them under quite a lot of pressure but did not make it count.
"Tonight will be a different sort of game but one we are looking forward to.
"We're going to be the underdogs but it is one where we can go out and enjoy it."
Rob Sawyers who picked up a toe injury that ruled him out of the Halifax match, is fit again but Ben Smith will not feature.
Formcast: Cobblers to put the boot in on Bulls with a 2-0 victory.
