GRAHAM Turner plans to play his Cards right with a fast-paced display at Edgar Street tomorrow (3pm).
Hereford United entertain Woking looking for their first Nationwide Conference double of the season and manager Turner believes an up-tempo performance will be the key to success.
Goals from Matt Clarke and Steve Guinan gave Turner's side a 2-1 win at Kingfield back in September.
The Bulls have been forced to endure a frustrating two weeks without competitive action following their return to form with a 4-0 home against Barnet on November 30.
"It was unfortunate that we've had this break after winning 4-0 but we're in good shape and looking forward to the match," said Turner.
"Woking have got a lot of experience in their side with the likes of Dean Austin and Warren Patmore so we've got to have a high tempo game.
"We've studied the tape of their live Sky clash with Doncaster Rovers so we know a bit about them.
"But we've got youth on our side, a fair degree of fitness and if we play with the same pace as we did against Barnet we should be able to get a result.
"Before the Barnet game we had a poor run without playing badly in games such as against Dagenham & Redbridge and the return for our performances was unjustified.
"One point out of 18 makes pretty bad reading but we bounced back with four goals against Barnet and a Steve Guinan hat-trick so that's done everyone's confidence the world of good."
John Grant and Ben Smith's return to full fitness has been like signing two new players, according to Turner but his hopes of making Mick Galloway's loan signing permanent are fading.
The midfielder appears close reaching a settlement with Carlisle United but with family in Glasgow looks more likely to join Gretna on January 1.
Hereford's discipline will come under close scrutiny from Turner with three of his players on four bookings -- just one away from suspension from the holiday period's important fixtures.
Michael Rose, Danny Williams and Guinan are the players walking a tightrope for the Bulls.
Woking manager Glenn Cockerill has recently strengthened his squad with the signings of Raphael Nade, Jonathan Coates and Dean Austin.
The Surrey outfit lifted themselves out of the bottom four with a 2-1 home victory against Halifax last Saturday.
FORMCAST: 2-0 to Hereford.
