OPPORTUNITY knocks for Hereford United at Margate in the Nationwide Conference tonight (7.45).
The Bulls have a superb chance to leap-frog rivals Doncaster and Halifax into third place and cement their position in the play-off zone.
Fortune favoured United at the weekend with Chester, Doncaster, and Halifax all losing and Jay Lovett snatching a stoppage time winner at Edgar Street in the 2-1 defeat of Nuneaton.
Manager Graham Turner will be looking for a tighter defensive display for this evening's match with his team having shipped five goals in their last two away matches.
"Results went well for us at the weekend but we have got to defend better," he said. "We have conceded five goals in our last two away games and we need to go back to keeping clean sheets like we were a few weeks ago."
Jamie Pitman has an ankle knock but is expected to be fit while Danny Williams serves the second of a three match ban.
FORMCAST: Bulls to take a point 1-1.
