STEVE Guinan comes back into the reckoning for Hereford United's trip to Northwich Victoria in the Nationwide Conference tomorrow (3pm).
Bulls manager Graham Turner omitted the striker from Tuesday's 2-0 win at Margate which propelled the Edgar Street club into third place.
Guinan was suffering from a slight knock on the calf but would not have played anyway, according to Turner due to a tactical switch to counteract the Kent side.
"I changed the formation specifically to deal with Margate but I'm not sure what I am going to do on Saturday," he said.
"Steve wasn't going to feature on Tuesday but he should be fit for the weekend."
The match will be played at Witton Albions's ground due to the redevelopment of Northwich's Drill Field but with Hereford's impressive away record it should hold no fears wherever they play.
The Vics won 2-1 at Edgar Street back in October but their home form has been poor with just three victories to their name.
Hereford meanwhile have the second best away record in the Conference, second only by Chester, and with nine victories to their name will have a great chance of making it 10 and possibly moving up to second spot.
Turner believes Hereford have got a head for heights and the club could even go second if results fall their way but the ex-Wolves and Aston Villa man is not let speculation about play-off places infiltrate his thinking just yet.
"It's a nice position that we find ourselves in but there is still a long way to go," he said.
Northwich player-boss Jimmy Quinn, still playing in his early 40s, has earned the admiration of Turner, himself a player-manager of some repute at Shrewswbury Town in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
"They are still 10th in the league, in the FA Trophy and he's done a good job on limited resources and we know it is going to be difficult," said Turner.
"Northwich will be keen to build on their win at Doncaster and we will have to produce our best form to get a result."
Hereford will be without Danny Williams who completes a three-match ban in just eight days.
FORMCAST: Hereford to win 2-1.
