Kington climbed to third spot in the Crusader Worcestershire County League Division 1 after victories against Pedmore and Hagley over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Against bottom club Pedmore, Kington skittled out the struggling visitors for 68 in just 26.3 overs with Adam Herbert (5-20) and Kevin Gwynne (4-32) bringing about their downfall.
Kington wasted little time in reaching the low target and, boosted by 40 extras, achieved a nine-wicket victory in the 16th over, with David Exall (22 not out) leading the way.
Kington struggled on a pitch with variable bounce at struggling Hagley, reaching 164 before being dismissed in the final over. Owen Price (35), Simon Fletcher (29), Exall (25), Steve Williams (22) and Ed Symonds (21) all got started for Kington. The injured Herbert (6-32) and Gwynne (3-77) combined to bowl out Hagley for 142 and secure a hard-fought 22-run win in the 49th over.
Bromyard remain fourth after winning at mid-table Droitwich Spa by 51 runs and salvaging a losing draw at home to Netherton.
Ashley Bullock top scored with 49 as Bromyard posted a respectable 158-8 and James Hine (5-32) got down to work to bowl out Droitwich for 107.
Despite an excellent stint from paceman Zahid Saeed (5-80), visiting Netherton reached 200 and Bromyard replied with 180-7 of which Ed Oliver hit an unbeaten 55.
Luctonians chalked up a comprehensive seven-wicket home win over struggling Hagley and held on for a losing draw against county rivals Eastnor at Clenchers Mill Lane.
Luctonians made a superb start against Hagley when Alan Butterworth removed Clive Eades with the third ball of the match. But the Luctonians star performer was Mike Pledge who snapped up 5-25 from 14 overs to rush out Hagley for 86 in 39.4 overs.
The total was never likely to test Luctonians and contributions from Butterworth (27), Greg Powell (25) and Mark Lowden (20) saw them home in the 23rd over.
Eastnor had the upper hand in Monday's derby with Luctonians, rattling up a competitive 246-7. Danny Rees (44), Jabran (37) and Shahid (37) weighed in for Eastnor, while Ian Jones bagged 4-83. Lowden (31) and Duncan Platford (30) led Luctonians' reply, but the visitors lost wickets steadily to Khalid (4-45), Jim Sandford (3-43) and Shahid (2-40).
Luctonians were indebted to Jones' defiant unbeaten 11 as they held out to reach 212-9.
Eastnor also registered a winning draw at Chaddesley Corbett, with Arshad (94 not out), Shahid (89) and Rees (60) pushing the visiting total to 283-4. In reply, P Lyman (70) was the mainstay of Chaddesley's 227-8, while Shahid (3-75) and Sandford (3-95) were the pick of the Eastnor attack.
