GRAHAM Turner is confident Richard Teedsdale can realise his potential in his second season at Hereford United.
The ex-Walsall defender made only a handful of starts in his first year at Edgar Street but the Bulls manager is optimistic he can progress and make more of an impact next time round.
"Richard has got some potential and though he only made five starts he never let us down," said Turner.
"Hopefully next season he can improve further and feature more prominently."
Teesdale and midfielder Danny Williams have agreed to re-sign with Turner still waiting for official confirmation of their acceptance of new deals.
"Danny's acceptance is in the post but Richard has got an agent and I think he's got to sign it as well."
Williams was an impressive figure in the Bulls midfield and Turner admits he was relieved the former Chesterfield player elected to resign.
"I thought he had a good season for us and I'm pleased he has resigned," added Turner.
The United manager is eagerly awaiting the start of June when a full list of all the players available is published and he can make further forays into the market.
However despite the anticipated proliferation of players available it is still going to cost to get the best players to Edgar Street.
"I've spoken to a couple of players to date but we're waiting for the list of players to be published in June," said Turner.
"There will be a lot of players but the good players will still demand the best wages and market forces will dictate that."
Hereford's pre-season programme continues to take shape with Kidderminster Harriers due to play at Edgar Street on Saturday, August 2 (3pm).
The Bulls other pre-season friendlies announced to date include home clashes with Wolves on July 14 and West Bromwich Albion on July 21.
Meanwhile, former goalkeeper Ken Griffiths is joining Exeter City for pre-season training.
