CONFIDENCE is high in the Hereford United camp on the eve of their FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie clash at Dover Athletic tomorrow (3pm).
The Bulls' are still buzzing after administering six of the best to struggling Scarborough last week but caretaker boss Phil Robinson is making sure his players keep their feet on the ground.
"The mood in the camp is very positive at the moment but we are certainly keeping our feet on the ground," he said.
"We know the game tomorrow will be a completely different proposition but we hope to take our positive attitude into the cup tie.
"I'm still undecided as to which formation to play going away from home compared to when we played them at Edgar Street but whichever way we will still be positive."
Hereford have already tasted success against Dover this season in a 3-0 win in the Nationwide Conference including a brace from striker Rob Elmes.
But despite languishing third from bottom the Whites must not be underestimated according to Robinson who said expects their new look team, with five new signings, should prove much sterner test.
"They are slowly clawing their way form the bottom of the table but I think there position is a little bit false because their current form is mid-table.
"They've got five new players in a short space of time and the team is much improved so to go into the match thinking we are playing a bottom three team is false."
Robinson though wants his team to take a positive approach.
The £20,000 on offer to the winning club will be a much-needed boost to the cash-strapped Edgar Street club, whose financial struggles have been well documented in recent times, but Robinson believes his players will not be under any extra pressure.
"Players don't need any extra pressure but obviously they read papers and are aware of the situation.
"They know there is money resting on the game but I want them to go out and play it just as if it was another game," said the coach.
Hereford (from): Baker, Clarke, M. Williams, Goodwin, Wright, T. James, Snape, Voice, Elmes, G. Williams, Parry, K. James, Quiggin, Gardiner.
FORMCAST: United can ease though with 2-0 win.
