Hereford United must overturn one of the best home records in the Conference if they are to continue their magnificent seven-match unbeaten run tomorrow (3pm).
Opponents Southport have not suffered a league defeat at Haig Avenue since October when they lost 2-0 to Dover, and with just three wins out of 13 away matches, the omens are not promising for Phil Robinson's men.
But despite their less than impressive away record, the player-coach is confident his side can take something from the Nationwide Conference's sixth-placed team.
"Southport are another one of the form teams and their home form is excellent," he said. "But having said that we managed to go to Telford United when they were the form team and get a good result.
"If we perform the way we can I would like to think we can maintain our unbeaten run.
"Our away form has let us down this season and that is something I would like to put right. Last year it was excellent while our home form was average but this time it is the other way round and it is hard to put your finger on why that is."
The Sandgrounders put five past Leigh in their last home match but recent displays have seen them lost 2-1 away to Stevenage Borough and also suffer an ignominious FA Trophy exit at the hands of Dr Martens Western Division outfit Gresley Rovers.
Simon Parke with nine goals is Southport's leading scorer and they have plenty of experience in the side including ex-Aston Villa defender Shaun Teale.
Hereford's hopes have been hit by the suspension of leading scorer Gavin Williams but standing by to replace him are Jimmy Quggin and Rob Elmes, who scored as a substitute in last week's 3-0 win over Margate.
Another striker in contention is Daniel Davidson is also in contention for a place up front after recovering from an ankle injury.
Paul Parry and Ian Rodgerson have not trained this week due to illness but Robinson is hopeful both will be fit tomorrow.
Formcast: Bulls to gore Southport's home record and sneak a 1-0 win.
