Director of Football Graham Turner is backing Hereford United to end their miserable home form against Leigh RMI tonight (7.45).
The Bulls have drawn four of their five home games, which has seen them slip to third place in the Nationwide Conference -- the latest a 1-1 result against Stevenage on Saturday.
Turner said: "There is no doubt that the home results have been a disappointment. Apart from the win against Telford we haven't had the luxury of getting a goal in front, and sometimes that has conveyed itself with the players with a bit of a lack of confidence.
"We have to score in our good spells, and it leads to a problem that any mistakes at the back are punished, as happened on Saturday.
"But we are still in good nick, and there is good spirit and determination to get results at home."
Turner expects a tricky test against the Conference newcomers, who are currently in mid-table.
"We have had them watched and the over-riding message is that they are very well organised.
"They have got a couple of players from Burnley on loan and have also taken a player from Newcastle. They certainly won't be easy."
Midfielder John Snape had to come off at half-time with a dead leg on Saturday but Turner says he has a "good chance" of being fit for tonight.
If Snape doesn't make it, Turner has several options. "Craig Hanson has been working hard and is waiting for a first-team opportunity, while Gavin Williams could drop back and Rob Elmes could come in up front."
Ian Rodgerson, however, remains doubtful with a calf injury.
Hereford (from): Cooksey, Lane, Clarke, Robinson, Wright, James, Parry, Hanson, Snape, Elmes, Giddings, Williams, McIndoe, Wall, Baker, Gardiner, Rodgerson.
