Following last year's well-received activities, Herefordshire County Netball Association will again start their season with three Fit for Netball sessions, which are open to all interested players over 16.
Led by Jeremy Wheadon of Sixth Sense Fitness, the sessions will incorporate some fun skills and drills designed to improve speed and agility and will be particularly suited to the explosive power and footwork skills needed for the game.
Senior and Under-18 county squad members are required to attend, but the sessions are also open to club players wishing to start their season on the right foot.
The sessions will run from 8.15-9.30pm on Mondays September 8, 15 and 22, at a cost of £3 per session, payable on the night to treasurer Pam Emberton.
l The structure of the county season has been altered by the governing body this year.
The English Counties League matches will be played approximately once a month on Saturdays from Nov-ember through to April.
