Hereford United face some difficult contractual decisions over the next 24 hours.
The Bulls, who round off their Nationwide Conference season at Boston United tomorrow (3pm), have no fewer than 10 players whose contracts expire at the end of this season.
Tomorrow is the deadline for all players out of contract to be notified if they are to be offered new terms.
The 10 players concerned are skipper Ian Wright and fellow defenders Matt Clarke, Paul Sturgess and Matt Gardiner, midfielders Ian Rodgerson, John Shirley, Jimmy Quiggin and John Snape, striker Kerry Giddings and second-choice goalkeeper Matt Baker.
Director of Football Graham Turner, who was unavailable for comment today, will be hoping to offer new terms to the majority of those players, as well as adding to the squad with the aim of mounting a title challenge next season.
Having ended Yeovil Town's title challenge with a surprise 3-2 win at Huish Park on Tuesday, the Bulls are now hoping to finish their season with a flourish at Boston, having remained unbeaten in nine games.
However, other results on Tuesday meant they can now finish no higher than ninth, leaving them to regret drawing 12 league games at Edgar Street which wasted their achievement of beating the top two sides..
That means they will miss out on a place in next season's LDV Vans Trophy, open to the top eight, unless any of the sides above them are not accepted into the competition through not having a Football League ground grading.
Skipper Wright may return to the side after missing the Yeovil game
with a bout of appendicitis, which would allow player-coach Phil Robinson to return to his usual midfield role.
Turner may consider making other changes to his starting line-up.
