Hereford United Director of Football Graham Turner has hit out at Nationwide Conference fixture planners after being forced to play twice in three days.
The third-placed Bulls must travel to Kingstonian tonight (7.45) before entertaining Yeovil Town on Saturday. But they then face a 10-day break before their next game at Telford United on April 18.
The Thursday date is due to Kingstonian's other commitments -- they are still in the FA Trophy and the Macmillan Trophy, and also have 11 league games to play.
But Turner said: "I think it is crazy that Kingstonian have got into fixture congestion and everyone else suffers.
"Our first-half performance against Morecambe was our worst of the season, following on from a very impressive second-half performance at Rushden."
Striker Rob Elmes and on-loan Bristol Rovers defender Tom White should both be fit after illness for Hereford, while defenders Matt Clarke (broken hand) and Paul Sturgess (thigh) will also come into contention.
