A Ledbury woman was one of the winners of a gardening competition held by the Marches Housing Association.
Thelma Hopkins, of Ballard Close, Ledbury, came fourth in the hanging baskets and planters category, winning £15 of gardening vouchers.
Marches Housing Association, formed in 1994, is a major provider of affordable housing, mainly in Hereford, but also throughout Worcester and Shropshire.
It manages around 2,600 properties and the competition is open to all tenants.
Judges said this year was even more difficult than last, due to a huge increase of entries and the high standards.
Head judge Brian Viner, a columnist with the Independent newspaper, said: "It was a privilege to be involved in the judging process but immensely hard work to decide on the winners in each of the categories."
