LEDBURY Probus Club has announced details of its programme up to Christmas.
The group meets at the Burgage Hall on Monday mornings, at 10.15am, and opens on September 1 with a talk by John Storer called Aspects of Code Breaking: Theory and Practice.
Douglas Wilkins will contribute a History of Postcards on September 8 and John Ralphs adds Sculpture Around the World on September 15.
Naval Battles are the subject of Peter Stallard's talk on September 22, followed by the Great Western Railway by Frank Curtis, Alpine Splendours of Switzerland, Royal Worcester Porcelain, Wartime Lincoln and Aspects of Lancashire also featuring in talks in October and November.
On November 3, Capt Manny Manfred will offer Experiences of War: The Falklands Conflict, while the Gloucestershire author Laurie Lee, author of Cider with Rosie, is featured the following week.
The Christmas lunch is being held on December 8. There will be a break on December 22 and 29. Meetings will resume on January 5.
