BOSBURY v BROCKHAMPTON III
Winning the toss, the visitors batted first but only G Jacobs, who batted well for 70 runs, made any progress. When he was out, bowled by Steve Davies, the rest of the Brockhampton batsmen fell cheaply to be 113 all out.
Pick of the bowlers were Mark Wadley (3-12), George Abbey (2-5), and Steve Davies (3-10).
Bosbury openers Matt Graff and Paul Allen got away to a steady start, taking the score to 44 before G Jacobs was brought into the attack and bowled Allen for 22. Dave Daffin (1) was run out shortly afterwards and then M Jacobs came on to bowl and brought about a small collapse as George Abbey (3), Peter Blake (6) and Alan Lancett (0) all fell.
Matt Graff batted well, but on 56 he gave spin bowler M Jacobs his fourth wicket.
Mark Wadley (11) and Steve Davies (4) then took Bosbury to the winning total for a four wicket victory.
