Hereford bookmaker Mark Blandford has netted a significant windfall, reported to be around £2.4million, after selling a 30% stake in his successful Internet sports betting company. A racing enthusiast, Blandford is the executive vice-chairman and founder of Sportingbet.com, a tax-free sports betting web-site, in which he still holds 17.1 million shares. Blandford is a life-long supporter of cash-strapped Hereford United - and he does not intend to change that scenario. He said: "I know there have been expectations from some fans that I may put money into the football club, but my main priority is my family."
