HEREFORDSHIRE students will be travelling far and wide across the country to embark on university life after hundreds shone with impressive A-level results.
The commitment and dedication of the diligent candidates saw nearly every school and college beat the national average pass rate of 95.4%.
Councillor Don Rule, cabinet member for education, said: "Congratulations to A-level students on their hard work over the past two years! This year a majority of Herefordshire students have secured a place at their university of choice."
