PARISH COUNCIL -- In the August meeting of Madley Parish Council, items discussed included were what activities the young people of the parish were asking support for. It was suggested that a special meeting with local residents be convened, when ideas and thoughts could be discussed. A convenient date and venue was arranged and that to be at Madley Parish Hall on Tuesday, September 16, at 7.30pm. Several planning applications were commented upon. A further report on local footpaths was again very informative. A report on the lengthsman scheme was put forward and complemented on how well the scheme was being achieved. The date of the next meeting is Monday, September 1, at 7.30pm, in the parish hall, when all members of the public are most welcome to attend.
