MUSIC from the organ at Leominster Priory and other local churches has been recorded for an international audience.
The organs of Leominster, Ludlow, Monkland and Clungunford churches and The Old School, Orleton, have been recorded on a CD that is being distributed around the globe.
The disc has been produced as part of a highly acclaimed Benchmarks series in which top organist Paul Derrett is recording important instruments, which deserve wider recognition.
"The series sells all over the world and presents the best of our heritage," said Paul, who has broadcast for the BBC and plays regularly in venues as St.Paul's Cathedral and Westminster Abbey.
The recording will be launched in a (free) public recital at Ludlow Parish Church on September 17 when the programme will include several items from the disc.
