a golden eagle figurine, valued at £50, has been stolen from the Newent Association for the Disabled charity shop.
The theft took place at around 11.50am on Saturday (August 9).
A man was seen by a member of staff admiring the figurine, part of a special display, just before the eagle statue went missing.
The description given to the police is of a young man in his twenties, of around 5ft 10in in height. He had an olive complexion with stubble and was wearing a red baseball cap.
