Newent Cricket Club's youth development programme will benefit from a beer festival and pig roast on Sunday, August 24, from 7pm.
Last year's beer festival was so well received, the club has decided to make it at annual event, providing public support remains the same.
Club spokesman Richard Martin said: "The event will also provide a highly entertaining evening for the local community.
"There will be barrels of local real ales from Wye Valley, Uley and Freeminers, and ciders from local manufacturers, including Westons."
The cover band "Undercover" will provide live music.
Mr Martin said: "A shuttle service will run people free of charge from Newent Library to the Cricket Ground in Three Ashes Lane, Oxenhall, from 6.45pm onwards."
Tickets purchased in advance will cost £2 for adults and £1.50 for children. Tickets on the gate will be £3 for adults, and £1.50 for children.
