Ledbury in Bloom chairman Tom Deane is waiting and hoping after the visit of the national judges to town this week.
He said: "I have to try and not get too excited. I think both judging days went tremendously well. Let's keep our fingers crossed. We put up a very commendable entry all round this year."
The results of the Heart of England regional finals will be announced on Friday, August 29, at Coventry Cathedral, when Ledbury will be represented by Mr Deane, the mayor, Coun Keith Francis and mayoress Pam Juckes.
The results for the national finals will be announced on Tuesday, September 30, at London's Guildhall.
